The Space Upstairs is a multiversity for jazzing new theories and practices of how spontaneous performances and happenings are experienced in a unique warehouse gallery-loft 'canvas' located in Pittsburgh's East End.

The Pillow Project has been in residence at The Space Upstairs since its establishment in 2006.
